How does Invisalign work at our dental clinic in Dubai JLT?

What is Invisalign?

Any questions you gave about the treatment will be answered by one of our dentists. When you are ready and feel comfortable with the treatment, we start with step two.
2. The treatment plan
After the first step the dentist will give you an overview of the treatments, how long it will take to get the desired results, and how much the costs will be. After approval from your side an accurate 3D-scan will be made of your teeth. So, there is no need to bite in anything. We will send the results of the 3D-scan to Invisalign. Invisalign will use these scans to make a 3D-video. When we receive the video, your dentist will look for any improvements. After possible adjustments and approval from you and the dentist, we will order the aligners from Invisalign
3. Designing your customized aligners
Invisalign will manufacture your invisible customized aligners. As a result, these can only be worn by you.
4. The Invisalign treatment – wearing your aligners
The next step is actually wearing your transparent aligners at least 22 hours a day. This means that you should wear the aligners most part of the day and during your sleep in the night. You will slight pressure on teeth. This is good, because this means that your aligners are doing their work. Around every two weeks you will get a new set of aligners to wear. During the treatment you will visit us regularly for check-up and in order for the dentist to monitor the progress.
5. End phase and aftercare
When you are finished with the treatment a splint or two will be placed at the back of your teeth in the upper and lower jaw. This will prevent your teeth from moving back. Also a transparent customized night brace will be made which you can wear in the nights. After this a few check-ups will follow.
